Taken from the lake at the right vantage point, you can have a photo of the Angkor Temples in full reflection. And taken at the right time, you can have the temple to stand alone without the colours and hassles of tourists.
Again without human presence, the temple stands in magnificence all by itself.
The rear building/entrance of Angkor Wat not very commonly visited by tourists.
Many feel that the Bayon although a side kick, has many ways surpassing the Angkor Wat. Walking through this much smaller infrastructure will enlighten you with the fact that sometimes the moon can shine brighter than the sun.
The face of the King or Buddha himself? Come walk a journey to find out.
One of the best essence of Bayon is its peering faces, and if you follow the paths of each path's eyesight, you may be able to see things beyond just illusive temple walls and magnificent infrastructures.
Apsaras are the blueprint of the Angkor civilization. Take a look at their depictions and inscriptions, then take a look at the cultural dance moves still evident in this modern era.
The Bayon too, can be visitor-less if you know the right place and right time.
Photographic Perspectives
With the right time and right place, you can have photographs without tourists to bring home. Photos taken with just an old iPhone. It is all about vantage points. All images are copyrighted to my old iPhone but please feel free to use them. I will be happy and thankful if you can cite the source by linking to my website.
